“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 8:37-39
For a while, I have allowed the enemy to come and speak lies into my life and make me really come to doubt the authenticity of my relationship with my Jesus. Today, those lies were broken, and I was set free. I want to now, and forevermore meditate on how my Father loves me. He LOVES me! Wow. Think on that for a second. The Creator of ALL the Earth, loves me, and He loves You! Amazing, huh? This verse in Romans, it gives me joy. Regardless of the time that I felt distant from God, [even though that too is a lie from the enemy] NOTHING can truly separate me from the intense, satisfying and wonderful love that He has for his daughter. I am loved by the most High King. And as hard as that is for me to admit at times, it’s true. And I am forever thankful for a God who loves His children well. I am thankful for a God who is dwelling inside of me, who is never distant from the storms and sadness that crash over me. I am thankful for the fact that no matter how far I may run at times, He pursues me to the ends of the Earth, because He is so insanely in love with me. Nothing we could ever do could separate us from that love. I am excited to see where He leads me in this new season.
